Yahoo! It’s wedding planning time! One of the first pieces of wedding planning is crafting your guest list. This is where the question of who to invite comes in. Who receives an invitation to the entire day? Who receives an invitation to just the reception?
Consider these 3 questions as you get started drafting your guest list!

#1 Do both of you know the person?
Introducing your partner to friends and family is one of the greatest joys of being in a relationship! However, weddings are an expensive time to meet people for the first time – not just for you providing the food and entertainment, but also for them to purchase wedding day attire, a gift, and possibly travel and lodging.
#2 What is your overall wedding day budget?
To put it simply, more guests = more money OR more guests = low quality food that guests complain about. Get clear on what your wedding day budget is, decide what food feels the most “you” to offer, gather pricing for a high quality version of that food, factor in other wedding day expenses, and then decide how many plates fit within your budget.
#3 Who could you call at 2am when you need relationship advice?
Yes, we know – this likely just narrowed your list down to a very select group of people. However, these are your people. These are the ones who will support your marriage not just on your wedding day – but throughout your marriage.
